Les meilleurs hôtels à Chengdu

Chengdu is noted for its green spaces and flowers. That legacy dates back to the Five Dynasties era, when Chengdu served briefly as China's capital, and hibiscus was planted all along its ancient city walls. Modern Chengdu is the capital of south-central China's Sichuan Province, a main agricultural region. It's known as the Brocade City, given local artisans' skill in plying that textile handicraft. The Sichuan Opera is winning fame for the city as well. Tourist attractions in Chengdu include a thatched hut once inhabited by the beloved poet Du Fu Caotang, plus ten giant pandas (the world's largest collection), rare golden hair monkeys, and other animals living in the city zoo. Outside the city are nearby marvels like Mount Emei (at 10,337 feet, the highest of China's four sacred Buddhist mountains), a 331 foot tall Great Buddha Statue at Leshan, and some excellent, spicy Sichuan food.
