“Large comfortable room and hotel is on main street for convenient access to everything.”

, United Kingdom

“very quiet location. nice to sleep especially travelling tired.”

, Australia

“A highly individual location - rather old-fashioned, but with a lot of charm. The previous owner made china frogs, in a number of life-like configurations, which are distributed throughout the property. The current proprietor is very friendly and accommodating (we turned up 3 hours late, having missed a turning, and almost running out of petrol). Be sure to telephone them if you are going to be late! Denmark is a small town, close to the Valley of the Giants (giant trees, that is), and serves as a retirement home for aged hippies. There are agreeable young people as well! Be aware, that if you go for a walk through the town, that it will take you much longer than you expected, if you are up for conversation with the locals. Be aware also that the town closes down (apart from a single pub) around 8 to 9pm.”

“Managers were very attentive and polite. Right in the hub of town with easy access to supermarket, newsagent, cafes, bakery and fuel.”
