“If you are stopping in Fairplay I would recommend this hotel. Convienent to the hwy and to town. If you stay go over to south park brewing for some apps and beverages. For dinner go to 1873 Valiton Hotel on mainstreet. Try the miners burger and fries... outstanding. The bartender is fantastic also.”

“Good location right on 285. Bare bones hotel in need of update but best in town. We had a few problems with our room - one was smoke detector battery low - staff quick and very accommodating in response. Very quiet.”
“One of the most updated inns/hotels I have seen in the mountains. Clean and comfortable and spacious all around. Continental breakfast was actually the best variety I have seen in the area. Danishes, muffins, yogurt, bagels, 4 kinds of cereal, Oatmeal, juice machine, actual whole milk and there was plenty of space for guests to eat in. The rooms had real blankets which many inns and lodges and motels do not have. Heater was quiet and bathroom was a full size. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great view of the mountains too. Will come back and highly recommend.”
