“The rooms smell beautiful, a mixture of wood and straw. Wonderful, never had that before! The Onsen is big, only few people in the morning, and designed beautifully. Everytime I had a question, there was English-speaking staff available - very rare in a Ryokan. You can choose between japanese and bakery Breakfast. Both are really good! They have an own bakery on the property which is extraordinary- pain au chocolat very similar to a original french one!”

“Preparing our travel from Tokyo to Suzuka we decided to have a night at a ryokan. Aqua Ignis was a wonderful surprise! Located between green montains we found that the ryokan is not only visited for the natural hot spring but also for enjoying the artistic and laid back atmosphere, full of inspiring decor and relaxing corners. Also the bakeries and delicatessen were a good surprise! The beautiful hot spring bath can be followed by an outside walk on the artistic wood deck, surrounded by a mirror of water, lights and candles.”
