“The staff was fantastic. I was relaxing in the sitting room by the fire and although he didn’t have to, he offered and brought me some tea. I love that they had games to play and a nice room to hang out in. The kids indoor play space was also appreciated. The bartender was fantastic and very friendly. The front desk man actually tracked us down at dinner to check if we’d made a reservation for the ferry because he remembered our plans for the morning. We didn’t even know we needed to do that! He checked the times and helped us make a plan b, which worked and we were able to cross on a stand by ticket. Without his help, we might’ve not made it! Family room was spacious, beds comfortable, plenty of hot water, kids loved the bunk bed.”
