“The setting is fantastic, heard the wild boar in the night. Breakfast was excellent, Junior Suite was super, castle rooms were so interesting.”

Although the hotel cant control the weather, just pointing it out for those that like sleeping in cooler rooms. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were meticulous. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had booked a group of rooms, the large family room was plenty of space for our family to spread out. The single rooms were tiny, but well appointed. A little dark, but you are staying in a castle, please keep that in mind.”

Dinners were absolutely delicious. The area is beautiful and our children adored the falconery in the grounds - you get in free as a hotel guest and we went everyday!”

“It's a freaking castle, you're sleeping in. Seriously cool. There's a grotto and a falconry next door, and miles of hiking. Breakfast was included and good.”
