“The chateau, nature around it,the location and the friendly staff”
“Close to Autoroute but not so close that you'd know. Wonderful welcome and detailed info of what we needed to know. Staff could not have been more helpful and engaging. Comfortable, beautifully furnished bedroom. Superb chateau and gardens (steeped in historical interest), woods, pool and tennis courts. Extremely well cared for, gardens were emaculate. Evening meal was a gastronomique delight with great local wines, excellent service. Breakfast looked amazing (had to pass, too full from evening before).”
“Very very nice stay. Diner was perfect. Location is beautiful. Receptionist nice and helpful. Thank you very much.”
“Our third stay at this quirky little chateau, this time in a very comfortable garden room. It is well placed, just of the A76, for an over night stop on our regular journey from Perpignan to just south of Paris. Dinner excellent, breakfast substantial and pleasant gardens to stroll around. St Flour itself is also worth a visit.”
“This is a real gem in the Auvergne countryside. You feel like royalty in this 15th century chateau. The restaurant is of the very highest standard. The welcome from the staff is very warm. There is a small pool to cool you down. A car is essential, though the lovely citadelle town of Saint Flour is only 4 miles away.”
“The food is fantastic. We had the best meal there of a 3 week holiday. Very easy access from the A75. The staff are very welcoming. It's a bit like a Spanish Paradore.”
“A 15th century small château in beautiful grounds yet convenient for main toll free route. Turrets, circular stone stairs, old but comfy rooms, lovely gardens and own woodland to wander in. Samuel and his staff excellent service, charming stay in what is a bijou château in the true sense of the word.”
