“The hotel is located right near the basilica. I had a little trouble finding it, and getting there by car as there are a lot of one-way streets, and the street the hotel is on is actually L-shaped. It's a converted hospital. The rooms are spacious, with nice view. There is a curfew at 11pm, which I did not know. The breakfast is minimal, but at least there's coffee. Free parking on the street. Very reasonable.”

“The position is optimal, near to all important places (main square, S. Chiara and S. Francesco churches). You can book a free parking, which is very important in Assisi. I do not know about public transport to reach the hotel. The room was basic, but comfortable enough, and clean, also considering the low cost (54 Euro per night, two guests, breakfast included). The breakfast is typically italian with basic stuff (bread, jam, croissants, juices), and it is in line with the room price. The breakfast time is limited (8-9 a.m.) but it was good to us. The bathroom was tiny. The hotel was easy to find upon arrival (with GPS). The hotel is in the city center, so you can enter in the city center with the car. If a policeman stops you, you just have to say that you are a guest of Cittadella Ospitalità. Be prepared to drive slowly on steep slopes.”
