“The Couvent de Saint-Ulrich is a beautiful facility. It is located off the beaten path in a rustic, rural setting. The atmosphere of the (former) convent is very nicely preserved, as were the gardens. The rooms were functional and complete, and totally in keeping with the tone, sober.”
“The location was outside Sarrebourg, up a long steep hill at Haut Clocher. It was beautifully quiet and the property is set in very nice gardens. Good views. As a former convent, the property oozed serenity, and guests sat at long tables for breakfast just as the nuns had done. The property is about 300 yards from a very up-market 'Auberge' serving very nice French food.”
