“The hotel staff were superb, all of them. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was exactly as asked for on the booking requirements. My wife is partially disabled and we have a well travelled dog, everything was catered for including doggy biscuits for his breakfast. The meals were of excellent quality, the menu was basic but very well prepared and served. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Although the hotel was larger than the ones we usually book it had a very homely and pleasant feel about it”

“The whole experience was perfect, from check in to check out. In the evening, in spite of there being a function (95 people), the staff were attentive, polite and engaging with the residents. Breakfast was amazing. Really comfortable and very large bed, warm room. Good location, large car-park. 10-15 minute walk to Ashburton, worth the effort.”
