“The staff are amazing people! They really do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. The available extra comforts make this spot ideal for a weekend getaway. The view is breathtaking and there is a bus stop conveniently nearby. ”

“The building is a typical "finca" (farm buiding) with veranda on a ridge overlooking the coffee zone between Manizales and Chinchina. The steep forested slope next to the ecohotel leads to a swimming pool. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are OK, WIFI works good and breakfast is basic but good. It is located very close to Manizales, and there are clear roadsigns. Taxis are called by the hotel staff and reach the place within 10 minutes.”

“It is an ok location but the rooms are tiny and don't even provide a chair. Breakfast is served on the nice terrace but is a non-event. The reception was not very welcoming and they don't have a good understanding of hospitality as you would expect for the price you pay.”

“We enjoyed the walk through the private forest which had nice views, birds singing and a lot of interesting plants. There are facilities for spa, a natural water pool and more which we didn't use but are probably interesting for people wanting to relax out of the city for a full weekend. It was very easy to reach (by taxi from city center, 8000 COP) and leave (by bus to the terminal, 1800 COP). We cooked our own dinner in the kitchen but, as noted in other reviews, staff could provide menus for domicilio.”

“The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The view from the dinning room is spectacular, you do not hear cars or motorcycles, just birds and nature , lots of plants and trees. Try to get room 11 just below the breakfast room... it is a bit noisy but best view! I would call it an urban oasis. Just 8-12K CP from downtown by taxi at a very affordable price , check this place if you like a great BnB experience. Secure free parking on premises. Don't forget to check out the hot springs at Terra Viva!”

“Very peaceful, relaxing place with a fabulous view. My room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was delightfully hot-a rare find in Colombia. The pool are and open-air dining room are both great places to bird watch, or simply enjoy some quiet time. If you choose the pool, the family pets (including a horse) will keep you company. Easily accessible by city busses from anywhere in Manizales.”

“Fantastic spot just on the edge of town. Peaceful and relaxing, we enjoyed the short nature walk to the pool area, although the weather was a bit cool for swimming, the grounds and the area are very scenic and relaxing. The owners and staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We only wish we could have stayed a bit longer. If the weather is a bit bleak and you just want to spend the evening in, they have a whole stack of menus from local restaurants and will place an order for you that you can enjoy in their sheltered dining area with a view.”
