“This hotel I found out is run by a family named El Cano...wonderful, wonderful ambassadors for Quito...the owner, I believe, a mature lady with her daughter and family just simply went out of her way to accommodate us...we were only spending 8 daytime hours with them until our flight left in pm. I must say the inside of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! I have never seen such beautiful tiles everywhere and spotlessly clean. For a hotel outside of Quito this lovely place was a shock, especially after driving through the main street and seeing rundown Quito at its best...we didn't expect much but were hugely surprised. sorry we couldnt have spent more time there. but our few hours were lovely.”
