“The location is very good, Courbevoie railway station is 1 minute away and La Defense is just at a 10 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area near the hotel. The building is old style, traditional French building, with nice cloth wallpaper on the walls, which is wonderful. From my room the view was nice, towards the skyscrapers of Le Defense. Room was cleaned perfectly every day.”
“Bed and room in general were clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and welcoming. Location good for my purposes (a business trip to La Défense - its about 20 minutes walk) and there was a reasonable choice of places to eat and places to buy food nearby. Having a kettle in the room is always a plus. Prices are competitive with the more anonymous chain hotels, and staying somewhere with a bit of personality made a nice change.”

“Although located outside the Paris city centre, it was located right next to the Courbevoie railway station, which is just a stop away from the major railway station at La Defense. The hotel is just a two-minute walk away from the station. The hotel has a homely ambience and is on a nice street, tree-lined in front of the hotel (see pictures). Our room had a tiny balcony overlooking the street. But, the room was not noisy. The bathroom was small but neat. There are a number of eateries and departmental stores at walking distance on the same street, including, to my pleasant surprise, one eatery serving Indian fare. The staff were extremely pleasant, courteous and helpful. Special mention needs to be made of Helene, Olga, Alexis and Mustapha. Full marks to them!”
