“A quintessential English Experience circa 1950's. We ate an evening meal there and it was very good. The chef does offer something a little different. For example I had a chicken burger (not normally my fare, but due to heath situations my diet is limited). The chef had made a very light curry sauce to go with the chicken breast home made burger, which acted as a great contrast to the blandness that chicken can often offer. Great staff. Great building. Good location. Fair price.”
“The room was lovely, clean and comfy. Breakfast was good, just missing the Fruit Salad - but that was just an oversight. Had good chat with the new manager - who was still there at 1.--am sorting out problem, and back when we had breakfast at 9.00. How amazing is that ? Talking through small issues it was great to hear of their future plans. Looking forward to returning for a another visit. A great think I liked, from what I saw and understood, was that every room is unique and looking forward to seeing and sleeping in a different room. Thank-you. Andrew”

“Recently under new management and the service from the staff in the restuarnt was brilliant along with the food, cooked perfectly and the portions were huge so more than value for money, tucked away from the main road but is on the A259 and with A27 just the other side of the hill, Brighton, Worthing & Chichester easily accessible, we will be back.”
