“The rooms were comfortable but the onsens were quite basic. The outdoor one is particularly small but that is most probably because we were at much nicer onsen resorts before this. Breakfast has a limited variety but it is very tasty. Staff are amiable and friendly.”
“We stayed in a Japanese-style room with lake view. The view is nice and we can watch the fireworks display directly from the balcony. The staff set up the bed for us and the bed is supper comfortable.”
“Staying in this hotel was the highlight of our Hokkaido road trip. We loved the spaceous, Japanese style room with amazing views out on Lake Toya. The location was perfecf as you can start one of the hiking/biking trails nearby or drive to the mount Usu ropeway within 20 minutes. The outdoor onsen was very enjoyable - so peaceful and quiet with views to Lake Toya. The hotel also has a little shop downstairs with snack food and drinks. We would definitely come back and regret not staying longer. ”

“It was very comfortable despite that I have booked 2 rooms with 5 people on each room. We slept on futons and they were clean and warm on cold cold day. The environment was so comforting. The view over looking the lake and garden just took our breath away. We manage to catch the 20mins of fireworks. Simply beautiful!We were given Japanese bathrobe for the Onsen below. There was hair dryer in the room for your information =). They also provided Japanese light snacks and packed green tea. ”

“Yes: this is Japan as its best: What a great room with it's Japanese decoration and Futon-beds. Good size for a Japanese hotel, too and for us Westerners even two arm-chairs and a 'normal' table. In-house wardrobe is provided free of charge, as well. Great location not even 5 minutes walking distance to the lake. Great service, even the snow and ice from our car was removed next morning, when we left.”
