There are good Chinese restaurants nearby in walking distance (10 to 15 minutes). Also a couple of very good Western style cafes. But they are not just "across the road". You have to find them.”

“Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was very clean with comfortable beds and choice of pillows. There was a choice of Indian, English and Chinese food. The swimming pool was very clean and a reasonable size. It was quiet when we went there. Everything was provided in the room, bottled water, hairdryer etc. The staff organised taxis for us and also a car to take us to the Great Wall and wait for us. All added up to a very relaxing stay.”
