“This place is an excellent example of the positive results from a family, who owns and personally operates the hotel, with experience and formal education in hospitality. There is pride in the individual themed decorations of every room. The parking was intentionally placed a short way from the rooms so comings and goings will not affect the guests. The rooms enjoy balconies with views of trees and mountains. The pool (sadly for me closed for season) is a nice sized rectangular shape for people who swim will enjoy. Breakfast had many options, including without limitations, assortment of fresh fruit, cheeses, pastries, bread, meat, and cereal. Even peanut butter which is common in USA but only starting to be sold in Portugal and is expensive. It is well located as a base to see tourist sites and then back to your room for the senerity of the setting.”

We did not mind the distance away from the main building that actually worked to out advantage to stay undisturbed by others and likewise disturbing no one too. Breakfast was absolutely superb!!!
