“From the moment of arrival the greeting, welcome, and overall feeling was one of joy. The hotel has a good size dining room, menu, bar, pool, and a mini library. The decor is mixed artistic and antique. Everywhere you look there is creativity. There are rooms upstairs and down on ground level. There are brick paths leading to the rooms that have seating outside the doors and the pool and gardens are pretty and peaceful. The owner arranged a trip to Isla de la Plata for me, and if one wants to go scuba diving the owner is also a diver and takes divers out on trips. The hotel is one half block off the Malecon and beach so it remains quiet, but very easy to walk around Puerto Lopez. I loved it and want to go back!”

“We had no complaints at all. It was very good value and the room was very clean. We enjoyed the breakfast of fruit juice, tea or coffee, eggs and soft bread rolls with butter and jam. They made good cocktails and we enjoyed these looking over the pool and pleasant small garden. Particularly noteworthy was the friendliness and smiles of the staff. One even found us in a cafe to return trekking sticks we had left behind. This went beyond the call of duty and we so appreciated this kindness.”

“This is an excellent find! The accommodation met and exceeded our expectations! The owners and the staff was very attentive and observant about our preferences. I got lots of advice and answers for my questions from the owners. They also helped arrange for transportation to Playa de Los Frailes, our trip to Isla de la Plata and our onward trip to Guayaquil. The bed was comfortable and it was very enjoyable to be able to sit outside of the room by the pool and post a few pictures. The facility provides wi-fi service which was very convenient to have. This is a higly recommendable place.”
