“The only good things are the location and the pizzeria.”
“The hotel is in a good location at the far end of the beach away from all the clubs and there are some nice restaurants between the hotel and town. Our room was very big with a walk-in shower and balcony looking out towards the sea. The breakfast was nice and more varied than breakfasts we had elsewhere. The rooms were cleaned every day and crisp, fresh sheets were put on the beds, which was a major requirement of ours after staying in some cheaper places. The staff were friendly and helpful.”
“The pool is this hotels best feature. Large and deep with lots of space for sitting around. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is located at the end of the beach close enough to walk to all the action. It also provides some distance from the noise of the very active Montanita beach and bar scene. Also a great spot to watch surfers! The pizza place in front of the hotel is FANTASTIC!!!! Great food and service.”

“The view is amazing! My balcony looked out over the beautiful grounds and the point. The room was spacious and very clean. It is on the pricier side for Montañita, but so worth it. The town itself is very loud all night long especially on weekends, but down by the point it is silent. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and is included in the room price. They also have cute little beach huts with chairs. The chairs and umbrellas closer to town charge $5 per day to have 2 chairs and an umbrella. The ones at hotel Baja are nicer and free for guests.”
