“Once found after complicated one-way system in centre the central location is good as to main areas & moreover to the Schloss . It becomes easy to see the old centre & visit Schloss Buckeburg . The hotel itself has quite basic if adequate facilities . With hindsight is best to request a lower floor to avoid steep stairs & sloping ceilings . Breakfast adequate but by no means as good as other hotels of comparable price encountered during our 14 day trip .”
“Staff was very friendly and attentive. Hotel was perfectly located in the Fussgaengerzone, parking was all around and behind the hotel as well. Breakfast was decent and plenty, with cold cuts, eggs, bread, Brötchen the usual fare served in Germany. Rooms are spacious enough, bathrooms are facilitated with showers only. Historic place, well maintained.”
