“This cosy small hotel is a great stopping off point to explore the area - Colditz Castle is only 6 miles away and this is one of the nearest hotels. Service at the hotel was excellent. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the restaurant and was of very good quality and plenty of choice. We also ate a very good meal in the evening at the hotel, accompanied by an excellent local wine (for a bottle, €20, £15.60, $22.70). The town is a pretty, interesting, place and worth a visit. Good Wednesday market with lots of local produce.”
