“We had booked dinner service and were very satisfied with that. A starter, a first, a second, and a dessert are served. It seemed that for very hungry eaters a bit of extra might be available. Breakfast was abundant and tasty, though it seemed to miss eggs (we did not ask, however). The rooms are very interestingly furnished - it's a very unique blend of old and new. There is a huge bike garage (including bike pump), and a washing machine might be available as well (we did not use it). A highlight is the new wellness area in the sister-hotel Belvenu (just next door), which has an outdoor whirlpool with view on the mountains. The Grüner Baum itself also has a roof terrace.”
