“This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Harbin. Very close to many local sites and easy to access the city via bus. It was not expensive. The air conditioner and the shower worked great!”
“The hotel room was clean, if spartan and the hotel staff were pleasant. The hotel is a short, easy walk to St Sophia church and the touristy Zhongyang pedestrian street. There are a number of restaurants in the vicinity, including several Dumpling Kings--dumplings, guobaoniurou (a regional sweet and sour beef dish), fried red rice, and more--and several Russian restaurants. We especially liked the Café Russia on Zhongyang. There are various musicians playing evenings on Zhongyang--Russian groups and others--and quite a crowd in the street, especially Friday night. We enjoyed visiting St Sophia, the local Buddhist temple, the Siberian Tiger Park, and walking along the river in Stalin Park.”

“Staff was very helpful, very little English but we worked it out. One girl knew enough for most needs. Location could not have been better. Central avenue 3 minute walk, central bus station 10 minute walk, many buses to everywhere, many run until 10:00pm. Facilities were spotless and everything worked , yes even in China, toilet and hot water. Can't say that for everywhere in China if you have ever visited before. I probably sound like an advertisement for Ibis but these are the facts as I experienced them.”
