- Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18% .To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.<br><br>Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.<br><br>Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

“Really friendly staff, quiet, nice place, simple rooms”
“The manager was cool and friendly. The kitchen had a lot of supplies and was mostly pretty clean - much better than typical hostel kitchens. There was a nice eating area too. Location is good for surfers. One of the closest reasonably priced places closest to the beach/breaks. Wifi was consistent, though somewhat slow. Clean sheets and towels.”
“Our stay at Hotel Iguana Inn was excellent! Although the location is not right on the beach, it is only a block away which makes it a continent yet affordable place to stay while surfing Chicama. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The facility could use a little updating, including a better hot water system (water is tepid at best). What made our stay incredible however was Mauro, the host employee. He is such a positive and considerate person and he went over and above to make sure we had all we needed. Iguana Inn is what it is thanks to this committed and gracious host. Gracias Mauro por todo!!!”
