“The breakfast was a solid German country buffet - very typical and frankly I love it. The drive there at night was very hairy as there is a river to be crossed by ferry if you trust your GPS. So i ended up in a pitch black bit of countryside with no ferry and no information and totally uncertain as to where to go. That was unfortunate as I had the hotel in Berlin call the staff there and let them know I wason my way and they did not say anything. Otherwise the rooms are simple and clean. It is a bit rustic, but perfectly in line with a German countryside inn. The room had a TV that did not work but the wifi was decent with no notable hitches. The staff that I dealt with was efficient and some of them quite friendly too - great surprise.”
