“We had a very enjoyable stay at this very well run family bed and breakfast. The location is excellent, it's just a short stroll into the beautiful town of Ruhpolding. The owners are very friendly and helpful, we were given excellent information about the area and a guest card which gave free entry to local attractions. This is an excellent bonus. Ruhpolding has much to offer, there are great walks and bike rides from the town and an abundance of good restaurants and excellent cafes with outdoor seating areas. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of fresh fruit, hams, cheeses, eggs etc. We would highly recommend Pension Heidelberg, we will certainly return. Many thanks.”

“Brilliant stay Family run, lovely friendly people Breakfast was perfect continental style with plenty to eat and all delicious, we were lucky enough to eat out on the terrace a couple of days which is just beautiful overlooking the mountains Our room had living area which was really handy as well as balcony with lovely flower baskets and absolutely stunning views to wake up to. Shower was really good. Nice spacious room to spend 10 days in. Had 3 evening meals in the hotel, absolutely delicious and very substantial portions! Make sure you don't have lunch too near to them like we did one day and spoil your appetite, perfect after long day walking/cycling to refuel. Location perfect, near enough to town to wander in quickly but enough elevation out to get the views. We liked to walk up to the nearby church in the evening and take in the views - there's a few steps but worth the climb!”
