“The staff, on reception and overseeing breakfast, were excellent and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and of a good size, with a superb bathroom (although no bidet). Breakfast was of a good standard, in fact very good for the price range of the room. There was a restaurant, O Grelhador, a minute's walk away which offered good Portuguese food and service (good, but not the best we've experienced), and because the hotel's location is not central, having such a local restaurant is beneficial.”

Small bar, free WiFi great for a one or two night stopover. Car park at back. Choice of places to eat nearby. Not too far from historic town Centre. The Castle is a must see - go there and have drink meal at the restaurant O Javali. Drive through the ancient gateway. Very Impressive.”
