“We did like the hotels design. An old historical Building used as prison and now turned into a modern design hotel. Our room was large and nice and with a large new bathroom. However there is no free parking at the hotel. We had problems with paying the parking fee by sms, as we have foreign phonenumbers and we got a parking ticket :-( Very busy parking guards!!! There is a splendid restaurant nearby the hotel at the Canal, and we wonder why the hotel does not have a cooperation for dinner and lunch with them, as they only serve breakfast at the hotel. And a pitty that the staff totally has forgotten how to smile. Perhaps the atmosphere from the early middle-age prison got to them! Service could be much better!!! Pitty for this otherwise charming hotel.”
