“The Hotel Villa de Alquézar is a beautiful property in the heart of the picture perfect village of Alquézar, Spain. Our room was comfortable with a terrace overlooking the rooftops of the town and the cathedral bell tower. There are shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance to the hotel. The hotel is convenient to the walks through the Rio Vero Gorge, which is stunning. The breakfast was very good and included the usual Spanish breads, cheeses, pastries, and meats. There was also fresh fruit and yogurt which we don't always find in a Spanish hotel breakfast. The hotel had ample onsite parking which is unusual in this type of village. The hotel has a very nice lounge room with a working fireplace. It's a very nice place to relax in the evening. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We are only sorry that we could not spend more than two nights in Alquézar.”
