“This hotel is a very good choice for a family; the staff was very helpful, and the in-and-out access to the baths is a big plus. We had low expectations for the food, because of other reviews (and half-board cuisine tends to be disappointing), but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality -- both breakfast and dinner. The location is excellent, with plenty to do all the time -- baths; park; castle; museums; walk downtown. We rented a "family bike" at a nearby kiosk, which was a high point of the weekend. Gyula is a lovely town to explore by bicycle. We'll be back to Gyula for sure!”
