“This was a perfect stay. One of my favorites, ever. Amazing restaurant, amazing location, and perfect for a winter snowstorm.”
“Loved the cabin we had. Hot tub under the northern lights, what can’t you love?”
“Our Room was big and cosy, heating went very well, bed was realy comfortable, a huge bathroom and very clean. Possibility to have tea or coffee on your own in the rooms or at the reception. Realy good and local beauty products for use in the bathroom. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. Location is perfect! Right next to "into the glacier" and surrounded by a lot of hiking trails. Going to the hot tup (for guests for free) after hiking was amazing. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious! Also there is a possibilty to have a good lunch at the bistro next to the hotel. Northern Light wake up calls worked very well, you get also tipps where to go for the best pictures (you don't have to go far, there is less light polution around there).”
“Beautiful hotel and view, great dining room, nice staff, comfortable rooms and beds. Nice atmosphere. Expected much nicer pool area for an Icelandic accomodation. I'd stay there again though.”
“The summer house was clean and private and has its own hot tub andwasher/dryer and beautiful view. Restaurant is excellent.”
“As a base for taking the Into the Glacier tours, this place is perfect. The hotel is fairly new and the facilities are good. The hot spring baths on site are great.”
“We stayed in one of the private houses on the property. We loved the house but it was a little far to get to for dining and sightseeing, especially in the dark. The house was great for 2 couples but could accomodate a small family. We had our own hot tub but also used the Hotel's outside tubs which were a treat as well. Dined at the smaller restaurant for dinner which had a great buffet and better pricing. We did the nearby cave tour which was one of our highlights.”
“A highly-recommended spot for any visit to Iceland. We were there for one night in the summer villa - a house next to the river. I wish we could have stayed a week and explored the landscape around the area. The views were stunning, the hot tub a luxurious bonus, and it was a truly peaceful location. Dinner in the main restaurant was outstanding - don't miss it if you stay. Worth splashing out for. Finally, we saw the Northern Lights from here, from the terrace at the house - magical.”
“We had the summer house and it was a great size, so comfortable, laundry and it's own hot tub. It was a perfect retreat.”
“This hotel is so trendy and luxurious. The chef at the restaurant is so talented. My husband and I thought it was one of the best meals we had had in our entire lives.”
