“The location above the gurgling river Lignon and its accompanying gardens and allotments and also close to the small town centre is very nice. The lady who was on duty on arrival and on departure was also very nice. The Mandarin restaurant, 5 -8 minutes walk away in the town centre - has a limited and bizarre menu choice comprising buckwheat crepes savoury and sweet from Brittany (washed down with La dance Breton cider) and exec;lent coup de glaces. I went to Le Chambon sur Lignon specially because I read about how ithe people of the town and surro d agra had helped save many Jews and others threatened by fascism during the Second World War: the Lieu de Memoire is a small but very well equipped and presented multi-media, interactive place that recalls those years and the humanity of the people of the Vivarais-Lignon Plateau. Go There!!!”

The staff were so friendly and helpful, it was super clean and comfortable, the showers had inbuilt shelves for your toiletries which was great, the room had a great view of the countryside and the breakfast was delicious!
