“Surprisingly pleasant family run hotel perched on the hillside above Châtel. Warm welcome, decent sized rooms. My room had a large shower, although my friends' did not. No lifts. Nice view of the valley and mountains from the spacious dining room. Excellent breakfast, with the owner in attendance throughout. For dinner, we walked down the hill to the village, where there is great choice of restaurants. Ours was Le Vieux Four- an amazing experience, attended to by a friendly and helpful lady waitress.”

“I used this hotel for a short break skiing holiday. It is at the top end of Chatel, easy walking distance from the Petit Chatel lift and the Inter Sport ski rental. The staff are wonderfully accommodating, it is very good value, there is a lovely indoor pool, the rooms are comfortable and I had a great view over the Abondance Valley and down towards Linga. Nice to have a bath, not just a shower. The ski bus stops right outside and there is ample parking. It was easy to find and 2 hours exactly by car from Geneva (round the top of the lake and up through Morgins). From here you can ski all the way to Avoriaz if you want, for the two local ski sports, Chatel and Pres de la Jours provided enough for me for 4 days. Ample very nice eateries in town.”

“The hosts are so kind and helpful and would go the extra mile to help. Even going with us to the fuel station to help us out and printed weather forecasts and maps for our ongoing journey. The food and it's presentation were excellent with more than enough food being served. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The area and it's views are fantastic”

“Staff was really gently and tries to help you all the time. Nice view of the mountain even if the south exposed room has the best one the hotel is not in the center of Chatel but you can reach it in 10 minutes (and there is a free bus stop just in front of the hotel)”
“Great hospitality by the staff, happy to assist with everything. We were able to check out late free of charge. Hotel is a bit old but very well maintained. We had a car so distance to lifts was not an issue. Otherwise, ski bus stops in front of hotel. Breakfast is not exceptional but quite good and sufficient. Good WiFi signal”
