“Vezelay is a bit off the beaten track. The hotel is at the bottom of the village so easy to spot as you arrive with both public and private parking available. It has old fashioned grace with updated, comfortable rooms. We found an easy, friendly check-in process, and lovely amenities including air conditioning which was especially appreciated in the extremely warm weather, an elevator, and a clean and comfortable room with dreamy beds. Plus a lovely view over the countryside. Pricey for us but a welcome respite from hours on the road.”
