Although our room was smaller than anticipated, and the bathroom only big enough to accommodate one person at a time, it was all well laid out and very comfortable; the toiletries were of very good quality, bathrobes excellent, and we loved the daily bottles of water and chocolates left each evening when the bed was turned down and lights switched on during dinner. The view from the balcony was stunning. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a good quality environment in a stunning setting - we thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the restaurants in the lovely village of St Veran, the marmots scuttling around the rocks within a 10 minute walk of the hotel and the magnificent eagle spotted on a trek along the river bank.”
