“Was put up on a spacious fifth floor room that had an excellent view -- it was Monday and maybe many of the rooms were available, but still it was a nice gesture by the hotel. The staff are always helpful, friendly....and they speak English well which is a big help to me.”
“Excellent location a few waking blocks for the gran via and Callao plaza. Can walk to most everything from here. Can walk to the shows. Good reception team, clean older style hotel. Rooms clean and big, decor is older and was not my liking but common for a older style hotel. Tiny shower, tiny barthroom, but good shower pressure and hot water.”

“The hotel was very comfortable and clean in a great location. Our room faced inside, which was a little dark, but very quiet. We particularly enjoyed the location because even though you are in the heart of Madrid, the plaza on which the hotel is located was relatively quiet. Yet, you are steps away from the Grand Via and a short walk to Plaza Mayor. El Cortes Inglese is just around the corner! The hotel also has seating on the plaza which is great for a morning coffee, an afternoon drink, or tapas later at night. Great place to people watch. The staff was very helpful and courteous.”
