“This is a delightfully picturesque, traditional building with a more modern wing of rooms overlooking the garden. It is a family business going back over 4 generations and the striking feature was the friendliness of the host and his staff. The meals were delicious, often served outside in the shade of an extensive pergola. It is an ideal spot for walking in the countryside but is also only 30 minutes by car from Meissen and the river Elbe and about 60 from Dresden.”
“The hotel is placed in a very quiet area, surrounded by forrests and vineyrads, good for walking and cycling. There is a very nice garden which can be used by hotlel visitors. Very friendly staff, not everybody speaks English but you are served by the ones who speak. The restaurant is quite good. We had a triple room which consisted of 2 quite big bedroom and sort of living room with the third bed + balcony”
