“Staff were particularly kind and attentive. They even called to warn us that the restaurant was closing in case we wanted a late supper!”
“Comfortable room. Pleasant environment. Helpful staff.”
“For being the only hotel in town, they sure were busy. The room and other facilities were nice, the staff kind.”
“I liked the hotel, it was lovely in a nice area, comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast was lovely even if somewhat expensive. Dinner and the bar were lovely.”
“Good location, clean & comfortable, nice spacious room. Plenty of parking”
“Great location, food was very good, lovely staff, comfy bed.”
“The Kirkhouse Inn was the only option in Strathblane. We were hiking the John Muir Way and hit the Inn after a long hike. No one was at the lobby desk and no one showed when we rang the bell. Finally someone came out of the bar and it turns out the barkeep was manning the desk. Our room was fine, kind of a railroad flat with bedroom, tiny sitting room and bathroom in a row. We had dinner there and it was a pretty noisy local crowd at the bar. The proprietors were nice but a little casual.”
“Very nice location, but most off all fantastic people!”
“I was treated like family the owners are some of the finest folks you could ever meet they went out on their way to help me out on more than one occasion the food was outstanding and fresher cannot be found . The local folks that would frequent the pub are a great friendly bunch and I enjoyed sharing drinks and story's with them all !!! And the location within striking distance of Glasgow was perfect lovely landscapes with the Glengoyne Distillary 1833. Two miles down the road was great !!! Great value for money and operated by the owners with great attention to detail made me feel at ease ! I will return next year”
“Fantastic breakfest. Very kindly staff! Location very nice. Friendly people at all!”
