“The hotel is located in very nice park. The hotel itself is very well repaired. Breakfast is very tasty.”
“The hotel was once a residence of the aristocracy before it was taken into government ownership during the Communist times. The original family are now back and have a long lease on the place. They have completely renovated the house and grounds and converted it to a hotel and conference centre. The renovation has been beautifully completed and the rooms have nice touches such as reading material in various languages. I particularly enjoyed the tour of the house given by a member of the family. I took the half board option which as other reviewers have noted, is great value. The beef ragout soup with its hint of fennel (?) was excellent and the chicken and salad I had was a change from the potato heavy meals I had eaten at other places.”
