“Beautiful period property. Bedroom had lovely high ceilings and huge windoows and shutters. The white walls, white bed linen and wooden floorboards, combined with pale bluey grey accessories and chair were very calming and tasteful. Fantastic air conditioning in an August heatwave. Lovely breakfast on the terrace. Charming and very helpful and considerate staff.”

“Peaceful, charming beautiful house. We were made to feel so at home and welcome. The rooms are so clean and beautifully furnished. Sheets so crisp and fresh, towels so plush. Really enjoyed a morning swim after a lovely breakfast outside. We were given advice on a winery and a natural bio farm , which was so helpful! But it is all the little details that add to this unique hotel. I wish all hoteliers spent this much effort !”

“The lady who dealt with us there was keen to ensure we were well looked after, ie we sat outside, she brought us some blankets in case it became cold. We ordered a plate of cold meats and cheese which was beautifully presented as was the breakfast. The croissants were very fresh, just warm and delicious, the orange juice freshly squeezed, all served on lovely crockery. A much more personal experience than you get with hotel chains.”
