“I loved everything about this place. I could live here. I actually cried when I left. The place itself is immaculately designed, blending into the natural landscape with stone walls made of local stones and its use of traditional building methods but with all the modern conveniences like central heating and a heated swimming pool. Kudos to the architects. The staff are also wonderful. In fact it was the staff who made this place the TOP of my list of best places I've ever stayed in the world. So helpful and friendly and just wonderful. The food in the restaurant!!! Like the architecture, its traditional, but made better with some modernity---try the lomo de llama with quinoa risotto. I mean, llama meat and quinoa? --it doesn't get more traditional than that, but made so so so tasty by a very talented chef. The surroundings are stunning and the facilities like the pool, the spa, and the gym are all top notch. I wish I could have stayed forever.”
