We visited out of season [mid-March] which was nice and quiet but suspect it will be a different place in the Summer months, obviously! Great to be able to get the 'navette' over to Arcachon being a quick 20-mintue crossing over Le Bassin which was like a mill-pond so, no problem for potential non sea worthy punters - lovely trip over to the 'other side'!”
“The architecture, the windows and every room inside from the orangerie style breakfast room to the grand dining room to the old wooden staircase leading to the rooms. The situation is perfect and the warm welcome we received made the long drive down on New Years Eve all worthwhile...oh and the dessert trolley went down very well too! Lovely old world ambiance mise à jour, genuine shabby chic.”
