“The hotel prepared the breakfast extra early for people who want to catch the early bus to Machu Picchu. The staffs are friendly and helpful.”
“Nice staff. Right next to bus stop to Machu Picchu”
“This hotel was very well located a short walk from the train station and the bus station for Machu Picchu. The rooms were comfortable and given the steep hills, it’s location was a bonus from some of our party of 5. The view from our room over the village was delightful and the hotel was located close to some excellent restaurants. It was excellent value for what we paid. Staff were friendly and helpful given our language difficulties.”
“The location was terrific and very close to the centre of the village, which meant that it was a very short walk from the train station, and close to the bus queue for Machu Picchu. It was close to many restaurants some of which were very good value for money”
“Great location, the staff are very nice. Please note the door closes at 11pm. Meaning you have to be back in the room by this time. We didn't mind as we wanted to wake up early for Machu Picchu .”
“about 300ft from bus stop, easy to find, hot water shower good and strong. Staff will ask you leave the room key at front desk ever time when you leave the hotel, and you will get it when you come back. ”
“Great location.comfortable lounge which they didn't appear to mind you using long after checkout”
“The hotel is a local family-owned operation. The mother runs the hotel and the father runs the restaurant next door. We got a chance to speak with the son one evening. He gave us the best recommendation on what to do up at Machu Picchu regarding a tour guide (yes! but don't pay more than $60 USD) and where to take the iconic photos and selfies.”
“Great hotel at an awesome location in Aquas Calientas. Right near the bus stop to Machu Picchu. Comfortable room. Nice hot shower. Breakfast was great and the hotel even made up a to-go breakfast the day we went to MC early. Held our luggage and let us hang out in the lobby until it was time to go to our train after checkout.”
“The staff was extremely helpful--they helped us with bus tickets from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, and volunteered to hold our luggage while we were at the ruins. They also volunteered to make us a bag breakfast for free because we would be waking up to wait at 4:30 for the first bus! The hotel can be a little hard to find, but it's only steps away from the bus ticket booths and maybe one or two short blocks from the actual bus stop. Hot water in showers, but it can run out. Room temperature great.”
