“The property is set away from the hustle and bustle of the village centre with breathtaking views. The hosts make each and every guest feel special. It is more like visiting close friends than staying at a hotel. The rooms and grounds are immaculate and the pool area is spotless. Breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner is wholesome and presented beautifully. Whilst the policy suggests they arrange a regular shuttle in to the village, in reality they drop everything to provide you transport to and from the village. Loved every minute of our stay here. ”

“This property is run by a family - and they really felt like family during our stay there. The other staff was also very friendly and did their jobs impeccably. The view is incredible with a breakfast to match. We are not that into pools at hotels, but the infinity pool at Loca is so enjoyable with such a picturesque view that we spent a whole day just at the pool. In short, it was very difficult to leave -- and when we visit Selimiye again, this is the place we are going to stay! Thanks and love to Tunçer, Nilgün, Seçil and Kansu!”

“Breakfast, the lack of a TV-set in the room (I do not know whether to match the furniture's traditional style, because of the size of the room, not exactly huge, or because most people nowadays manage to do without it thanks to phones or other portable gadgets), the location, high above the bay (around 90 m above sea level) and, of course, the panoramic view.”

“I've lived in Turkey for ten years and travel to many places along the Aegean and Med coasts and stayed a lot of nice hotels, but this had to be one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had in Turkey. Everything about the hotel, the staff, the location was perfect and made my stay memorable. The town (village) of Selimiye was deserted as it was the off season, and I was one of the few guests and the hotel at the time, and they made me feel like royalty. So helpful, attentive and doing whatever they could to make me more comfortable. The owner even picked me up from town when I couldn't find my way back. 10/10 hotel experience. Also, the breakfast was amazing. ”

“Beautiful setting overlooking the town and sea with incredible gulets in the distance. No need to go into town in the evening. We preferred to enjoy our drinks from the pool terrace and look out at the picture perfect setting. Their restaurant has a nice selection of both alcoholic and n/a drinks. The rooms were clean and more on the traditional side of decor. Great water pressure and hot water in the room. Pool temp was very comfortable. Most have individual balconies. We were greeted by the family (all wonderful and focused on your comfort). Breakfast was great. Eggs, coffee, tea, Turkish style, French toast, sausage. On our last day the father threw water on the back of our car as a way to bless our travels. Nice touch. Then the whole family waved as we drove off. We would definitely stay again.”
