“This is way above the standard for small hotels in Argentina - helped by the hands on involvement of the owners. The hotel is really well finished, rooms comfortable, staff helpful and breakfast good. A place to have stayed longer.”
“Good location, easy to reach restaurants, bars, shops, ATM machines. All trips pre planned by accommodation which was very helpful. Good breakfasts in the morning at what ever time suits. Name on the door which was a nice touch !”
“Feels like home -- cozy rooms, excellent attention, a pleasure to come back to!”
“We felt immediately at home. Everyone wanted to make us feel welcomed and to have a good time. Great ammentities in the room and very modern and clean bathroom. Wonderful owners! Impressive and filing breakfast!”
“Ideal location in this small hotel in El Calafate. Just a couple of blocks away from the main drag. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The upstairs living room area would be a great place to ride out a storm if necessary though I had great weather. The staff will arrange tours for you if you need it and will generally answer all your questions. Breakfast was amazing!”
“I loved the interactions with the staff - they made my stay feel very homey, provided great recommendations, and made traveling alone more comfortable.”
“Great hospitality from the owners and staff. Small but new, very clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches in the room and for breakfast.”
“The room was extremely nice and comfortable. Mariano (the host) and his family are so welcoming that you feel like home. Great pieces of advice to prepare your visit to Perito Moreno. Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the jetted bathtub and the quality of the room !”
“Mariano, the owner, is a generous and thoughtful host who clearly enjoys getting to know his guests. The Madre Tierra is beautifully designed and appointed, the breakfast was excellent, and the members of the staff are very friendly and attentive.”
“Very welcoming, helpful and informative staff with great bedrooms and a beautiful, relaxing common lounge.”
