“The hotel was truly a 5 stars in the 70s, but it is still a great place to be as you can see that it was regularly maintained over the years. My room gave a view on the Christ, the neighborhood of Botafogo was very safe (Upper middle class Brazilian), the gym was nice, the swimming pool had a nice temperature. Concerning wifi: it was the best connection I had during my trip in Rio: I was able to catch some Skype professional interviews, and even stream NetFlix in HD !”

“O Apartamento é enorme para os padrões normais de hotel (estilo flat). O restaurante é muito bonito (além da vista para o Cristo), e o atendimento também é muito bom. O café da manhã se destacou por (ao menos no dia em que me hospedei) oferecer mini sonhos, o que agradou bastante minha esposa. Além disso, uma funcionária veio oferecer um pacote de pães de queijo quentinhos. Não bastasse, a cama é ampla e o colchão numa densidade ótima (nem muito macio nem muito duro). Para quem gosta de bares NOTURNOS, é uma excelente pedida, posto que há uma infinidade de bons estabelecimentos ao redor. Em suma, comparando a nota atribuída pelas demais avaliações no site com os demais hotéis que possuem a mesma nota, penso se tratar de uma injustiça, por ele ser muito superior à maioria que possui a mesma nota.”
