“One room with bath two beds in March $104 for three nights. Next to Metro station convenient to anywhere. safe area. many place nearby for foods, bank, grocery,... Breakfast is basic with a staff bring coffee, milk, one bun, one slice ham and cheese. You can store your foods in the breakfast room refrigerator and use the microwave there too. Room are clean. They give a small piece of soap and one clean bath towel, so buy your own shampoo next door and bring a wash cloth. One staff speak English (sorry that we forget his name, a tall white 30-40ish male). He is very helpful. He made a big difference. When he is on duty, get all you questions, bookings, and helps done. He suggested very good places to go and safety cautions. He booked Plataforma show for us R$180 with hotel pickup and drop off (much cheaper than others and good seats). When he is not on duty, we could not have communication with the front desk. 2 blocks walk to Flamingo beach. Ocean is calmer and less touristy there than Copacabana beach for swimming. Safe beach with frequent police patrols. A long stairway go to the hotel check-in desk from the street. If you have leg problems, be aware.”

“I first visited this hotel 3 years ago. I selected it for 2 reasons: location and they allow late check outs. Then it was free of charge. Now they charged me approximately 40US$. In both cases til 19:00. Very reasonable and convenient. Very good breakfast. Good lighthing in renovated rooms (most hotels in the world have poor lighting), including rheostat control of beside lights (very convenient for a couple).”
