“This place goes to the top of my list for a variety of reasons. Room cost is at least half of what you'll pay in Palo Alto or Mountain view. I had speaking gigs at the main Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto and another at the pain management center in Redwood City. Each was a five minute drive from the hotel, and no need to hit a freeway. The rooms are older but they're clean and comfortable. Mine even had a jacuzzi tub. Wi-fi and breakfast are free. Breakfast is nothing fancy, but sufficient if you're looking for a quick bite to start your day. Great for kids to. I would like to see them add some fresh fruit to the selection. I've paid much more and had a hotel that wasn't this kind of value. RECOMMENDED”
“the beautiful garden on the property”
“All rooms were large and roomy and clean. Much nicer than the online photos. We were surprised to find a big kitchen with dining table. Large jacuzzi bath tub. Courteous staff.”
“I liked the breakfast lady! Liked breakfast!”
“Our second stay in less than a year. Located near Stanford Orthopedic offices and the hospital. Comfortable and quiet.”
“The staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. It was a close stay for us to go to Stanford for appointments.”
“It was a cute boutique-like hotel. Flowers in window boxes. They must have updated an older hotel & they were done well while leaving some of the older things that were nice. For instance a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom. Unfortunately the location wasn’t super but it was right off the road I needed to travel on the very next day.”
“We arrived at the late evening. Reception was not occupied. Looking for an attendant he showed up after 5 minutes. Unfriendly and gave only very short information on the room. Room # was not visible from the car. We had to go back and no parking in front, even I told them that I am disabled and need parking in front. We changed the room, as they had vacancies.”
“The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. There was a very large flat screen TV with good internet and many channels. The beds were comfortable and the bedding clean and fresh smelling. The room had all the amenities and I loved the spa tub in the bathroom. It was spacious and well put together, looked and was, very nice. The breakfast was pretty good, but they could make a few changes. The grounds were nice and well kept, and parking was easy and right by our room. The price was good, especially in comparison to some of the places I've stayed in Palo Alto. The location was perfect for a day at Stanford University, easy to drive, even in traffic. It is situated nicely.”
“Full breakfast during the week, but only cereal, toast and donuts on the weekends, when we were there.”
