“The staff here were amazingly helpful with not only calling for taxis if you needed one but also with providing general directions and recommendations of places to see around the city. The location is good, right next to the Shanghai Railway Station so if you want to pop over to another city you can grab the train right there. It's also at the intersection of Lines 1/4/5 of the Shanghai Metro, so getting into the downtown area of the city is super easy. The room exceeded my expectations for the price and was really luxurious. WiFi was free, and I believe there even was a built in VPN as I had access to sites like Google and Facebook without having to use my own VPN (I did anyways since Instagram was still blocked).”
“The service is superb and no trouble getting late checkout. We booked three tours through the concierge service and were very satisfied. They will book a shuttle to the airport which is slightly cheaper than a taxi. Make sure you book breakfast included....the buffet breakfast is extremely good and plentiful offering foods in all cultures. Intriguing shopping centre across the courtyard from the hotel.”
“Very clean and comfortable hotel. They have a minibus going from 6 am to airports for about 13$AU per person, the metro is under hotel. Lots of really chip and testy places to eat near the hotel.”

“High class hotel, extremely comfortable bed with good pillow options, quality towels and bathroom amenities. Close to exit 5 of the adjacent metro station, although hotel entrance is concealed down a lane way. Extensive menu options at breakfast, our host Mark Ma and his team were wonderful, always very welcoming and courteous. Great proximity to Shanghai Railway Station if catching an overnight train to/from Beijing.”
