“Very unique property with individual rooms. We had a beautiful and very spacious Junior suite, with small balcony, although would have loved to try one of the 'cave style' rooms. Staff was very helpful with check-in and also parked our car in a free parking area on the street nearby, which was great given the narrow and steep streets in the area. We also had lunch at their off-site 2-Star Michelin restaurant, which was really cool, both in terms of food and the unique setting (partially carved in stone).”
“Cozy, tasteful, lovely room + very comfortable bed, elegant breakfast room & spread. Quiet.”
“It was a real treat of a place to stay - made extra special by the amazing attention of Stefano who looked after us brilliantly. In general though the LDS family were great and made us feel incredibly welcome. We will return!!”
“This historic hotel is located in a convenient location for walking all around town, and has a very helpful staff. Our room was a duplex with some quirky features, including a staircase to a room with a large bathtub, a sofa and desk. We enjoyed our stay!”
“The cave type room was memorable and the staff was very friendly.”
“Daniela gave us an excellent welcome and service over our two day stay. Room number 1 was special with an unusual shaped bathroom.”
“Our daughters bed room was rather quaint but she managed. Breakfast was great and the fact that someone parked our car made a huge difference as the streets are very narrow.”
“The location is splendid, within the old town. All the interesting places, plus bars and restaurants, are within interesting walking distance.”
“The beds were extra comfy compared to the hotels we were staying at during the start of our trip in Sicily. Soft pillows and a comforter. Home comforts! Great room details. A very unique hotel experience. It was like sleeping in a medieval modern cave. The staff were very helpful in getting us acquainted with the SKY cable, using the humidifier, and the A/C (very important). In addition, they were of great assistance to us in making restaurant reservations. Be sure to make reservations at the Locando Don Serafino, a two star Michelin restaurant located in an equally as stunning cave.”
“Hotel is right in the old part of Ragusa, and has a certain charm. Staff were helpful and responsive.”
